However, after meeting the Managing Director - Steven Duffy, on a desolate and muddy building site , which was to become the Airlie Green Development, any uncertainties we had were quickly dispelled. Steven spoke frankly about his vision for the Development, answering any questions we had concerning the build quality, specifications and timetable for completing the various accommodation types/plots available. We quickly settled on a splendid 3 bedroom semi-detached bungalow (The Johnstone) and reserved our chosen plot, very soon after.
We eventually took ownership of our wonderfully finished home in August of 2021 only 6 months after reservation. Having taken ownership of our home, any minor flaws which we identified, were acknowledged and resolved by speaking with the equally helpful Site Manager - Gordon.
We are very happy with our new home, particularly with the energy efficiency - running costs, resulting from the level of insulation, triple glazing, air tightness and the Air Source heating system that is installed. We look forward to many happy years here.
I would urge anyone looking to buy a new home, to actively consider an Airlie Green property, but I wouldn't delay, to ensure you get the home that best suits your needs.
